This is the chipotle experience applied to sushi/poke bowls. As someone who previously never enjoyed the vinegar taste in all previous poke places, being able to customize a big bowl of fresh ingredients makes a great meal. Great and quick service as well!

The options are largely centered around sushi and Japanese cuisine, but they do offer chicken as an option for all of their bowls if you happen to be averse to raw fish. Expect to be in and out in a few minutes while spending about 10-12, or, if you’re not in a hurry, there are a few tables outdoors to enjoy your lunch at if the weather is pleasant enough.
I've been really disappointed by a lot of the build-your-own fast food places in Short Pump lately, but not Poke! This place surprised me in the best way. The staff there was very knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to quickly answer any questions I had about ingredients for my food allergy concerns. The toppings were simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious! The portions are huge and the price was reasonable too. I loved it! I didn't get a drink, but I definitely will next time! I highly recommend it if you want a quick, healthy, fresh meal in Short Pump!
a unique way of eating fresh sushi. sushi in a bowl. a must try. big serving at the right price. you can choose from cooked or not cooked proteins. sauces and condiments are free except the guacamole. clean area and restroom. a comfortable seat would be better because your foods are delicious. and please don’t forget to smile. New to the Short Pump, VA area, I’ve had lunch here several times now. I finally slowed down enough to take a picture and write a review. Utterly amazing lunch and concept. This is the house bowl pictured below. After 3 orders now, I can say the tuna quality has been flawless. Very fresh, very tasty, and never anything leftover. If you like sushi, but not all the rice/carbs....get the sushi on a salad as pictured below. Very generous portion, very high quality, and excellent price for the quality. If you like Sushi, you’ll love a “sushi bowl” for lunch.
Nice cozy poke bowl place! I did a great your own and it was so good! The takoyaki was delicious, amazing sauce! Boba was pretty good, though not as good at kungfutea in terms of the tapioca, but still tasty nonetheless. I had the strawberry and there was more boba and ice instead of drink. Best to ask for no ice next time!
